New years Eve Celebration Ideas for Hampstead

For those of you who have a penchant for the dramatic and enjoy dressing up The Alice House - situated right in the heart of West Hampstead on West End Lane - is throwing a Masquerade Ball! Doors open at 7pm for drinks and with a three course meal followed by coffee, you'll be entertained until 3am. Tickets are £45 including food, or if you arrive after the meal at 9pm tickets are only £20. Booking via their website www.thealicehouse.co.uk.

If music is more your bag, The Westbury in Kilburn is throwing a 'News Years Eve Extravaganza' with an impressive selection of DJs including The Nextmen and DJ Vadim as well as their own resident DJ's, so however eccentric your taste there will be something to suit you! Get there before 9.30pm and you will get a free cocktail on arrival. Book at www.westburybar.com.

Missing the 80's? Well look no further than The Gallery in Broadhurst Gardens. Doors open at 7pm and the DJ's will be playing 80s classics. It doesn't stop at the music even the drinks are old skool with retro cocktails and shooters, as well as fancy dress. If you make it until 3am, bagels will be provided for breakfast. Tickets are £15 and can be booked by phone or at the bar.

Alternatively, we have a few suggestions if you want to avoid the crowds. Why not throw a dinner party or you could turn it into a 'Murder Mystery Dinner Party' to spice things up, combining drama and theatrics all in the comfort of your own home. If that is all-too-tame for you how about a kiddies party for your friends, think jelly and ice cream and party bags - all the fun you remember when you were kids, just with alcohol!
