Hampstead Easter Events

As Easter is nearly here, how about an Easter Egg Trail? Cadbury's is supporting the Easter Egg Hunt taking place at Fenton House in Hampstead Village over four days from Good Friday to Easter Monday. You must follow the trail and find the hidden pictures of eggs in the gardens to win a chocolate egg. Starting time is 11am and the site closes at 5pm. The price is £2.50 per child and accompanying adults have free admission to the garden. As well as the trail there will be a face painter to keep the kids entertained.

Fenton House is also known for the collection of keyboard instruments, porcelain and paintings added to this luxury home by Lady Katherine Binning who bought it in 1939. Admission prices into Fenton House are: Adults £6.50, Child £3, Family £16. Garden only: adult £2. Gardens season ticket: adult £10 and of course National Trust members get in for free. For more information call The Property Office on 020 7435 3471 or email fentonhouse@nationaltrust.org.uk.

There are many events for families happening locally for the kids over the Easter Break. For those children with dramatic interests there is a course including a mini performance of Wind in the Willows. Children aged between 4 and 8 could take part in the three day course at Mansergh Club in St Johns Wood, NW8 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm Monday 18th - Wed 20th April. Prices at £90 for the three days. The children will be encouraged to be creative by a team of professionals, with a wealth of experience in the theatre while hopefully gaining confidence and communication skills along with having fun and making new friends.
